Mechanical engineering students from Helwan University have found a way to run a car with air to promote clean energy and battle increasing gas prices, in Cairo, Egypt.
The students say that their vehicle can hit 24 miles / 40 kilometers an hour and last 18 miles / 30 kilometers before needing to be refueled, and it only costs about 18,000 Egyptian pounds, 1,008 American dollars, to build…
($1 = 17.8500 Egyptian pounds)
The students claim it can run for pretty much no cost.
